The B.C. Wildfire Service is reporting more than 300 fires, with 87 spotted in the past 24 hours and almost 200 of the total number ranked as out of control. B.C.’s minister of emergency management and climate readiness is due to speak on the wildfire situation at 12:30 p.m.
