N.W.T. budget suggests job cuts, partial jail closure to save money and prepare for the unexpected

N.W.T. Finance Minister Caroline Wawzonek tabled the 20th assembly’s first operations budget Friday. The plan proposes to shave 91 jobs from the public service as part of savings to better position the N.W.T. for expenditure shocks.
