N.W.T. spent $5.2M last year on agency nurses, who are paid more than local nurses
Nursing agencies cost the N.W.T. government $5.2 million last year, according to a spokesperson for the territory’s health authority. The union representing territorial employees is asking why those agency nurses make more than their local counterparts.
